Lucy's first meal

I was really wanting to wait until Lucy turned 6 months old to introduce solid foods, but over the past couple of days she started lunging towards our food, so we decided it was time. Today, we gave her first meal of rice cereal and she actually liked it!! Little Lucy is growing up!!

Summer Lovin'

Sweet, sweet summertime!

Big girl in Bible class!

Richard and Lucy at dinner before church one Wednesday night

Walker has been SO sweet to Lucy. He always wants to hold her and always looks for her first thing in the mornings and after naps. I love my kiddos :)

This boy LOVES the water. If he is not wet once a day something is wrong.

Walker in his new playset....yes..with TWO popsicles :)

W and L have started taking baths together and they both LOVE it...have I mentioned that I love my kids?

Funny boy.

Lately

Sweet Lucy has the most kissable cheeks!

This was from the other day. We had a lunch date with Richard at Firehouse subs and Walker got a "coooo" (aka cool) hat. Walker walked around with this "cooo" hat and his "gee tar" all day :) Silly boy!

Miss Lucy Kate was not impressed by the "gee tar" :)

Happy boy with crazy hair!

Lucy at her 3 month check up! She is in the 50% for length and weight. She weighs 12 lbs and is 23 inches long. When Walker was TWO months old he weighed 12.5 lbs and was 23.5 inches long. Sweet little Lucy :)

Easter 2012!

We spent Easter weekend with my family this year and it was so much fun! We drove to Montgomery first thing Saturday morning and stayed through naps on Sunday afternoon. Here are some pictures from the weekend:

Mom and Walker looking for bugs in the pool gutter. Walker is obsessed with bugs! I wish that I had video of them because they were both cracking up!

Family picture before our Easter egg hunt!

The McCrory's came over around 10:00 to spend the day. The cousins...ready to hunt eggs!!!

Let the hunt begin!
Walker looking for the "price" (aka surprise) in the egg.
Sweet Lucy Kate while the bigger kids were hunting:
After the Easter egg hunt the kids wanted to get into the pool. Well it was a little cooler than normal so dad turned on his hot tub to get it warm enough for the kids to play in. They LOVED it! They played in the hot tub for over an hour!

Richard and Walker getting ready to go swimming! I must say Richard was such a trooper. I totally had NO desire to go swimming so Richard stayed out there with the kids the whole time! What a good daddy and husband!

The middle of the hot tub is pretty deep and this little man is totally fearless in the water so we had him all decked out! Can you believe that every store in town was completely sold out of puddle jumpers? Here is our make-shift puddle jumper :)
Uncle Russell with Lucy Lu
Sunday morning we all went to visit my sister and brother-in-law's church, First Baptist. It was our first time visiting since Russell took the position of youth minister a little over a year ago. It was so neat to be able to see him in his element. He is really doing a wonderful job and all of the youth completely adore Lyndsey, Russell and their kids!

She is beautiful :)

Precious cousins.
After church we went to eat at the Capitol City Club. They had an Easter bunny there. I totally think that he looks pretty scary but W didn't think so! As soon as Walker saw him he ran up to him and started talking to him. He was putting on a show!

On our way back to Boo and Papa's after lunch we looked back to find this...
