37 weeks!!!

We have finally made it to 37 weeks!! YAY! This means we are now considered "full term." We had an appointment yesterday and Lucy is doing great! Her heart beat was 161 and has made some good progress towards being ready to come! At our appointment last week my doctor told me that she was measuring a little small. She has always measured a touch small, but it has been consistent week to week which means she is growing on like she should. But last week my doctor told me that she wanted to do a growth ultrasound because she had fallen just a touch more behind and wanted to make sure that she is growing and developing well. Of course, being how I am, I totally was stressed out. When I went to the doctor this week and expressed how concerned I was about all of this the doctor looked at me and said "really? why?" and continued to tell me that I had no fat on my stomach so there was nothing to "pad" the measure and that Lucy is fine. Now, I don't know about not having any fat on my stomach, but it did make me feel better that she really was not concerned at all and that Lucy did grow a good bit over the past week. So anyways, we are now in a waiting game. She could come tonight or in 3 weeks. Only time will tell. My mom and dad so graciously offered to keep Walker last night and tonight while we finish up some things around the house and get some rest before the big day. THANKS MOM AND DAD! :)

I feel OK...just 37 weeks pregnant. I am getting pretty uncomfortable and sleep has definitely been minimal but, on a positive note, I am still able to workout 5-6 days a week and am mainly doing BodyPump and BodyAttack. I am not worried or stressed about the timing/labor/delivery of Lucy but am a little worried about how I am going to give Walker the attention that he needs and deserves while taking care of a newborn. I know mom's do it everyday and it will be a learning curve, I just don't want to force Walker to grow up faster than he has to and want to make sure his needs are met.

Here is little Lucy's bump picture from this morning. 37 wks and 1 day. I'm sorry I am always in my workout clothes when we take these pictures :)

Play time

Gatsy is finally home from here vacation at Boo and Papa's! Yes...that means our fence is FINALLY fixed from the tornado (....2 months later)! YAY! We have been so happy to have Gatsy home! Walker and Gatsy are seriously best friends. They are so good with each other!

Gatsy has NOT been too fond of the "fur real" pet that Walker got for Christmas. I'm not sure if it is the way that it barks, whines, and moves that makes her nervous or if it is the way that Walker grabs it by the neck, drags it around by its leash or hits it....maybe she thinks she's next?? Either way...she is not too sure about it :)

Now, don't freak out. Walker is not hurt. He did not fall. He is not trapped. He has been wanting to "hide" all the time lately. So, this day, Walker pushed Lucy's chair over and crawled under it to "hide" and immediately asked "Daddy? Daddy? Daddy?" He LOVES to "hide" from Daddy!

35.5 weeks

Today is January 16th. I am due on February 16th. Yes ONE MONTH until little Lucy is due!! In 3 days I will be 9 months pregnant and in just 10 days our sweet little girl will be considered full term! I have made weekly doctors appointments until my due date (HOPEFULLY we won't need all of them) :). Lucy's clothes have been cleaned, washed and organized, her room is pretty much done, and her hospital bag is packed. I have been in nesting mode since Christmas and I really think that most everything is done! YAY!

How have we been feeling? We have been feeling 9 months pregnant. Not horrible, just pregnant (you know...tired, uncomfortable, unable to sleep...etc)...especially after fighting a tummy bug for almost an entire week! Thankfully little Lucy will be here before we know it!! :)

Family Pictures!

I have been a SLACKER on blogging lately! So here are a couple of blogs from December :)

The week after Thanksgiving (the first weekend in December) my family decided to have some pictures made. Considering it was 8:00 in the morning on a Saturday, freezing outside, we had 3 children 4 and under AND I was 7 1/2 months pregnant, I think they turned out pretty well :)

My fam :)

Sweet baby boy! I can't believe how much he has changed in just 6 weeks! He has so much more hair now and really looks like a big boy :(. He is growing up too fast. Good thing he is still a mama's boy!

Richard thinks I'm mean because pictures like this are my absolute favorite! I think it is hysterical! Walker thinks it is tragic he can see mommy but can't touch her! This boy knows how to turn it on! I really think this may be my favorite picture of the day :)

All better now!

Try again with daddy....
Boo and Walker-man. I'm sad we didn't get one of just Papa and Walker......

Christmas....a little bit late :)

This year, we spent Christmas in Henderson, TN with Richard's family. We had so much fun! Walker had a BLAST playing with his cousins Laura Beth and Carter! Baby Boy also enjoyed some much needed bonding time with his Gran, Grandad, Aunt Becky and Uncle Damon!

SANTA came! :)

Again, I think these pictures are funny :) An attempt at Pop with his great grand kids....Walker not happy that he could see mommy but not touch her...
And again...with Gran and Grandad!

Carter and Walker being silly!
Walker had a ball "helping" everyone open gifts!

We left Henderson after Walker's nap on Christmas day and headed back to Alabama. We stopped in Montgomery for a couple of nights to celebrate Christmas with them.

Christmas was wonderful this year. I can't believe that next year at Christmas we will be a family of four with a 2 year old and a 10 month old!! I'm already excited!!
