27 weeks 5 days and Anniversary!

This morning Lucy and I had another perfect doctor's appointment! I am so thankful for having such a healthy pregnancy! We had our glucose test this morning and I passed with flying colors! Actually, when the nurse took my blood sugar it was actually low so she told me that I needed to go eat something right then...oh darn that meant I just had to go by Starbucks on my way home! :) Lucy is also growing perfectly and her heartbeat was so strong! I am so thankful for a healthy little girl!

Baby bump at 27 wks 5 days!

This week Richard and I have SO much to be thankful for! First, Lucy and I had a perfect doctors appointment today. Today also marks our 3 year anniversary! Thursday is Thanksgiving AND it is the first day of my THIRD trimester! YES! That means in 9 short weeks, sweet little Lucy will be considered full term! Finally on Sunday we will celebrate Richard's birthday! What a wonderful week we have a head of us!

Richard and I have had so many life changing experiences in our 3 short years of marriage. When we first got married we lived in Montgomery and Richard was commuting to Auburn to work. Richard graduated with his PhD in December and was offered a permanent job at the University. I completed my dietetic internship the summer after we got married and we bought our first house and moved to Opelika. I applied and was accepted to graduate school at Auburn. Pretty much on our 13 month anniversary of being married we found out that we were expecting our first precious blessing. The following summer I transfered schools to the University of Alabama. In September we welcomed James Walker Willis into the world, all of this before our 2nd anniversary! I graduated from graduate school in May and we found out that Little Lucy was on the way in June. And here we are! I am working two jobs from the house and am a "stay at home mom," Richard is an Assistant research professor at the National Center for Asphalt Technology, and we have a vivacious, lively, funny, wide open 14 month old whom we love very much. Richard is the most amazing husband and father. He works tremendously hard at everything that he does at work and at home. He puts God first, his family second and his work third. He constantly gives more than I could ever ask of him. He is the most self sacrificing person I know, a wonderful protector and provider. I honestly can not remember what life was like before him and I can't imagine life without him!
